AIA Shreveport April Chapter Meeting Recap
AIA Shreveport members gathered on April 30th, 2026, at the Shreve Memorial Library – Broadmoor Branch for our April Chapter Meeting. We would like to thank PROSOCO for sponsoring and presenting an insightful session focused on “Knowledge to Help Manage Owner’s Expectations.” The presentation provided valuable industry perspectives, practical solutions, and educational resources for architects and building professionals. The event also gave members an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and continue strengthening our professional community. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this meeting a success.
AIA Shreveport Represented at the 2025 AIA Leadership Summit
Members of AIA Shreveport traveled to Washington, DC from February 10–14, 2025, to participate in the AIA Leadership Summit and Hill Day alongside architecture leaders from across the country. During the event, attendees engaged in leadership development sessions, national advocacy discussions, and meetings focused on the future of the architecture profession. The summit also provided opportunities to collaborate with fellow AIA members, strengthen professional connections, and represent the interests of the Shreveport architectural community at the national level. As part of Hill Day 2025, participants met with policymakers and advocates to support issues impacting architects, communities, and the built environment. AIA Shreveport is proud to continue promoting leadership, advocacy, and professional growth both locally and nationally.
