Associate to Architect
Associate members who receive their license to practice architecture are required to upgrade their membership to architect member by January 15 of the following year. They may not renew at the associate rate.

Membership updates help keep your AIA record aligned with your current licensure, career stage, and chapter affiliation. Use the options below to move to the right membership category or to transfer your membership to AIA Shreveport.
Architect to Emeritus
Eligible for members who have been in AIA for 15 successive years and are 70 years of age, or 60 years of age and fully retired, or are incapacitated and unable to work within the profession.

Transfer Your Membership
If you are a member of another AIA component and wish to relocate your membership to AIA Shreveport, submit the transfer request form to AIA National using the contact information listed at the bottom of the form.
